Description
Viscose Tip Swab pre-moistened with TSC Neutralising Buffer, supplied in a tube with a break-point at 45mm for simplified sample analysis. These pre-moistened hygiene swabs provide end-users with a convenient and straightforward method for sampling to confirm the presence of microorganisms on equipment and critical surfaces. This not only enhances brand protection but also reduces the risk of potential recalls.
They are versatile for environmental and hygiene monitoring (HACCP), ensuring food safety (TACCP), infection control, and cleaning validation due to the added disinfectant neutralizers.
In many instances, surfaces may retain traces of disinfectants and/or sanitisers. If left unchecked, these traces will not eliminate microorganisms but merely prevent their growth (known as a bacteriostatic effect). The TSC Neutralising Buffer effectively counters most common disinfectants, including peroxides and derivatives, phenols, quaternary ammonium compounds (QACs), amphoterics, chlorines, and associated halogens. This ensures that end-users can have complete confidence in their testing procedures.
